Benefits Of Being An EBC Member

The Club offers a high level of security with staff living on site. Staff are available to assist in the event of an emergency, storm or just to assist members when necessary. We also have regular security checks to identify any abuse of our security system. Access to the club's leased area is strictly controlled by our electronic access key system that allows access through the gates as well as provides a NO interest credit facility at our Fuel Barge, Shop, Bar and Bistro.

The Directors and Management are pro active in their efforts, constantly improving the facilities for our members and maintaining an efficient and safe work environment for our staff.

Our staff are available to assist members with a number of services including gas and other deliveries to your boat, ferrying fees to the work jetties, fuel barge, and pump out station at Point Worner. They will also launch and retrieve runabouts if requested. There is a nominal charge for these services, however, by utilizing them it sometimes makes the holiday more relaxing.

Staff are also available to assist members in times of inclement weather or with any special needs (eg disabled family members or guests).

EBC Facilities

The Club has extensive assets valued at over $4,000,000 which includes the following:

Our luxurious Clubhouse seats 240 members and their guests in the restaurant, whilst a further 100 are able to take advantage of the views of the harbour from the balcony. The restaurant has an extensive menu that changes regularly, and our drink and meal prices are structured to promote family dining.

Adjacent to the Clubhouse there is a swimming pool with barbeque area and a tennis court for use by members and their guests.

Campi Cottage is a renovated two bedroom cottage in the club grounds that is available for hire. It has proved to be popular when members have more guests than they are able to sleep on their boat, or just a weekend away for social members or those without a boat.

The Club's Fuel Barge is open each weekend throughout the year, from 9.00am to 4.00pm and supplies Premium ULP, ULP, Diesel and mix to members only and their guests. Our sale price is generally 15c to 20c less than other sites on the lake.

The Shoreline Shop is a kiosk on the water that sells a limited range of necessary products to members only, including bread, milk, ice, ice creams, the daily papers and a range of groceries and toiletries. The convenience of having this shop has saved many a member a long walk up the hill when the lake is low.

The Club has three Boats for Members Use when Members need access to their boats or to take goods or furniture to their boats.

The Club has a medical Rescue Boat which is fitted out by the Ambulance Service and used as a response vessel for 000 emergency callouts on the lake.

Our Slipway and Members Shed provides a facility to have your boat maintained by our onsite contractors in our undercover work areas. The club operates this slipway and we have ensured that the safety of your boat and our staff is maintained throughout the slipping process. We are able to work on twelve boats at any one time and we provide the power and lighting to the members and contractors.

The Club has Six Powered Work Jetties available for the use of members who need to carry out maintenance on their boat that is considered dirty, noisy, or just requires electrical power to complete the work. These jetties are always in demand and it is necessary to make a prior booking.

The club has nearly 200 Storage Sheds available for members to store their runabouts, jet skis or dinghies on site. The rental rate is significantly less than for other equivalent storage facilities in Eildon.

A major project is underway to design and build a purpose designed Harbour Crane Barge to replace the existing amphibious LARCs at a cost of $360,000. This major project is an example of the clubs goal for constant improvement.

The Club has a number of Launching Ramps to enable members to safely launch their runabouts at all water levels.
