New Years Eve
This night is one of the highlights of our social calendar and with a special menu, live entertainment and the camaraderie of other Members it has always been a memorable place to welcome in the New Year. This function is popular and it is always necessary to book well in advance to ensure you don't miss out.
Good Friday
Offering a vast variety of seafood including crayfish, prawns, oysters and calamari, the seafood luncheon is the specialty of the day.
Christmas in June
A great time to get together during the colder months, enjoy a red around the fire and experience the lake in a different perspective as you would in the summer months. A traditional Christmas dinner is prepared by our Chef and the night is always enjoyed by everyone.
Annual Dinner Dance
The Annual Dinner Dance, usually held in Melbourne in August of each year, is our formal event for the year. This function is organised at one of the major facilities and the night commences with refreshments and an opportunity to renew friendships over a few drinks. Early bookings are also essential for this popular event.
Sail Past
Sail Past is the traditional opening of the Boating Season and held on the Saturday of the Melbourne Cup Weekend. It is a day where Members and their friends celebrate by sailing in line past the Commodore's boat and returning to the Club for a night of entertainment for the whole family in a party atmosphere.
Grand Final Day
Eildon Boat Club is the second best place in Victoria to watch the AFL Grand Final. Good food, good company and no matter who you barrack for, you will be welcome, although there's always opposition! Book Early to ensure you have great seats to watch this magnificent event on our large screen.
